Much bigger on the inside than I had imagined. Great customer service! The waitress was kind and patient as we perused the menu. English is not the first language, but if you take the time to ask questions they will respond. We almost ordered too much food but she advised us that the portions were large and saved us a bit of money and stopped us from wasting food. Much appreciated! Everything was flavorful and tasted great. Wonderful place to stop for authentic food.

I love, love this restaurant (Taipei Cafe in Leesburg, VA)!! We have been coming here for years and it is consistently good. My family craves the pork with dry bean curd (tofu) which isn’t even on their menu but they make it special for us!! I’m familiar with authentic Taiwanese cuisine and this is my entire family’s favorite dish. It is unavailable at any other Chinese restaurant, you must try it!! I strongly recommend all the stir-fried dishes. (I don’t order deep fried dishes so I cannot comment on those.)

Authentic and priced accordingly. You know you are in the right place when most, if not all, the tables are occupied by native eaters/speakers. Having traveled to the Mainland and Taiwan on many occasions, we have searched up and down The Pike for the flavors, dishes and textures we experienced on our travels. Every dish we have tried were redolent of eating at the Wharf in Taiwan and in the various Mainland regions. Great service too. It speaks volumes that finding reviews of this gem is axt difficult...maybe we should keep it our own secret....not to be missed!

Great customer service! The cashier was friendly and welcoming. Also recommended multiple dishes when I wasn't too sure what to order. The price is also really reasonable as free sodas are offered before 3pm. Would definitely stop by sometime soon.

Today it was good. Lunch portions are enough for 2. They have the best shrimp spring rolls. And they even throw in a free soda of your choice. But, I still wish the original owner, I he father was there. He was a very nice man. Hope he is enjoying his retirement. I been going there since they opened. Years n years.
